To change himself from being a rebel son and to be not like his drug addict father, Julius devotes his time in sports. He teaches different kinds of sports voluntarily. One day, he is asked to form a football team that will represent their town in a football tournament. Julius thinks that teaching football would be easy until he meets the kids he’ll be mentoring. Most of the kids (12-16) are solvent users. Some of them have broken families; some of the kids join gangs. They don’t respect him. But because of his own experiences, Julius thinks that he can change these kids the way he changes himself. He becomes even more determined to help them when he learns that the kids just want to feel love, want to have a family that they are not experiencing from their own home. Eventually, the kids become closer to Julius. They build a strong bond through their love for Football. They surpass every challenge that they encounter in playing the sports. Soon, their bond is put to test when Julius decides to leave them and teach other football players in other school. But in the end, Julius explains to the kids that he is not teaching other kids because he is abandoning them but because he also wants them to learn to stand in their own feet.
