Jevon went to Manila to work and eventually send himself to school. But after six months of working, Jevon received a bad news that his family was massacred, leaving his father and brother dead while his mother badly injured and a sibling still in shock. He immediately went back to Masbate to be with his family and also thinking of getting revenge for their loss. But the revenge he was planning never took place when Jevon got involve in church work. The anger he was feeling changed and he began to feel compassion towards the two sons of the murderer. He even chose to be a scavenger just to be friends with them. At first Jevon felt the difficulty of befriending them. But little by little, Jevon took pity with the way of life those two kids had. He became their older brother, he showed them how it felt like to have a family. And because of that, Jevon learned how to forgive leaving the law to serve justice.
