Both 17, Ninoy, an extrovert, met Cory, quiet and sheltered woman, at a bienvenida party and fell in love with her. He continued pursuing her, until one fateful accident on 1951, lead them to getting married. But Cory’s dream of having a simple married life vanished when her husband decided to enter the world of politics. From being a mayor, Ninoy found his way to senate criticizing the Marcos regime, while Cory devoted her time and attention in raising their children and maintaining their home. The Aquino family was living a normal life, until the arrest of Ninoy and declaration of Martial Law on 1972.
