Momar, Ram-Ram, and Jupiter meet each other at Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology where they are enrolled and are members of the same student organization. The three quickly hit it off because of their highly spirited personas and love for dancing. Later on, the the three would also share to each other their problems at home, and it would make their relationship even stronger as they get to know each other more. Through dancing at night clubs, wearing of cosmetic products, and doing laundry together, their friendship is full of happy moments. That is until they are taken as hostages by the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) on September 9, 2013. During the siege, the three witness other hostages die in front of them, and become part of a human barricade while military men and rebels are firing their guns. However, even though Momar, Ram-Ram, and Jupiter are in these life threatening situations, they still find time to crack jokes that would make other hostages laugh – eliciting relief from a place where they could lose their lives any hour. The three are also assigned to cook meals for the hostages and rebels alike. After 8 days in captivity, the three, along with the other hostages, are rescued by the military. After their struggles, the three grow to be more loving to the important people in their lives despite the pain they have caused them. Up to this day, the three remain friends.
