Due to her short stature, Brenda grows up having low self-esteem and insecurity issues. From elementary up to college, she experiences hardships because the people around her judge her because of her height. But still, Brenda strives hard to excel in school. She wants to prove to everyone that her short stature is not a hindrance to success. Soon, because of her family who has always been there to support, Brenda finishes Bachelor in Secondary Education with flying colors. But uncertainties keep on pulling her down. Though she has the most impressive credentials, it is still hard for her to find a job. It gets harder when an official from the Department of Education Culture and Sports tells her that due to her height, it is impossible for her to teach high school students who are much taller than her. Brenda is about to lose her hope of continuing what she has started until a job of teaching hearing impaired students comes. Though teaching Special Education is not her major, Brenda grabs the offer. She does everything she can to teach her students even though she feels being disrespected by them. But because of Brenda’s determination, she soon gets their respect. Everything seems so right for Brenda until she realizes that she still needs a man who will love her for who she is. Unfortunately, she is rejected by the man he likes. Her insecurity issues come back. Brenda thinks that after all the achievements she has accomplished, she is still unworthy of love because she is small. But not after a man loves her for what and who she is. Only then Brenda realizes in the end that she may be small, but she is worthy enough to be loved and respected.
