TERMS OF USE

1. By submitting a story, a participant is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to abide by the Terms And Conditions herein.
2. A participant will retain copyright and ownership of his story. However by submitting his story, a participant hereby agrees to grant ABS-CBN Corporation an exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and worldwide license to use his story. Moreover, by submitting the story, the participant agrees to sign a license agreement with ABS-CBN Corporation over the said artwork, if requested by ABS-CBN Corporation
3. The participant agrees that ABS-CBN Corporation shall have the right to reproduce and circulate the story entries submitted and to use, copy, publish and distribute the story entries submitted for commercial and non-commercial purposes, without having to consult the participant or to provide any compensation.
4. The participant retains the right to publish such participant's story entry on his/her own websites, blogs, but may not enter the story in any other websites (other than what was specified above), contest, or use it in any way that defames or damages ABS-CBN Corporation or any other party.
5. The participant who submits a story entry warrants that he/she is the sole author and owner of the work, copyright thereon and of all rights therein; that there exists no adverse claim to or in the work; that neither the story entry or any party thereof is a copy of any other work; that neither the work or any part thereof infringes upon the copyright or any other rights of any person, firm or corporation anywhere in the world.
6. In consideration of the inclusion of the story entry in the competition and the possibility of being featured in any shows of ABS-CBN Corporation, the participant hereby releases and agrees to hold harmless ABS-CBN Corporation, its parent company, subsidiaries and their respective officers, stockholders, directors, employees from and against any and all claims, expenses, losses, or liabilities that may be asserted against ABS-CBN Corporation by any party at any time in connection with the character entry, or any use thereof, and from any breach of the Participant's warranties herein.
7. ABS-CBN Corporation reserves the right to block or remove materials or entries that it determines to be (A) Abusive, defamatory, or obscene, (B) Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading, (C) In violation of a copyright, trademark or other Intellectual Property Right of another or (D) Violates any law or regulation or (E) offensive or otherwise unacceptable to ABS-CBN Corporation at its sole discretion.
